Brennan eates about every 3-4 hours and sleeps the rest of the time. He is not sleeping through the night yet. Brian has been super dad and helps even in the middle of the night when he has to work the next day.

He lost his cord last Thurs -GROSS, but his belly button is now so cute! We go for our Dr. appt on Thurs 4/3. Mom can't wait to get out of the house!

Dr. Kim is now out of town so her partner (an LSU grad) Dr. Merchantel will be assisting us. He came to visit at 1030am and was concerned that overnight Brennan's heartbeat had periods of slowness. The options were go home and come back every 2 days for monitoring or have a c-section and have Brennan. We opted for the C-section at noon.

They gave me a spinal block and started surgery at 12:39pm, Brennan was born at 12:44pm and we were in recovery by 1:15pm! Quick!

03/13/08 - 3/14/08

At my 37 week appointment Brennan's heartbeat was sluggish so Dr. Kim wanted me to go to Celebration Hospital for monitoring. She asked that I call Brian and have him bring the hospital bag! I was monitored for awhile, however Brennan's heartbeat was still not where the Doctor would like to see it. We talked options and decided to begin inducing labor.

We started with Potacin, but it didn't work so they tried giving me Cuvicil and Miso to thin my cervix. We were there 2 days and nothing was working. Brennan's heartbeat began to drop more so...
