Dr. Kim is now out of town so her partner (an LSU grad) Dr. Merchantel will be assisting us. He came to visit at 1030am and was concerned that overnight Brennan's heartbeat had periods of slowness. The options were go home and come back every 2 days for monitoring or have a c-section and have Brennan. We opted for the C-section at noon.
They gave me a spinal block and started surgery at 12:39pm, Brennan was born at 12:44pm and we were in recovery by 1:15pm! Quick!

Congratulations on the newest Hock! A March baby, like me! It is the best month. There are Shamrock shakes at McDs. The photo with all the Drs, well the one looks like Dr Hahn from Grey's the female heart surgeon!

My grandson is the most beautiful baby on the planet! Brennan's Mom and Dad have worked hard and he is lucky to have such a loving home. Bacchus is adjusting nicely to sharing attention from Mom and Dad.
